October 21, 2019: Robotic Process Automation: Enterprises vs. Public Research Institutions

Digitisation in companies and public institutions include many tasks and processes on many levels. Robotic process automation (RPA) is only one of them, but very crucial. It can help to save resources and make processes more efficient and pleasant for the employees. It also can make their life to hell. Our inspiring speakers guide us in the world of automation.

September 26, 2019: Crafting a Chatbot’s Personality for a Life Insurance Company

Catia Ferreira just finished her Masters in Computer Science while working full time for a Luxembourgish Insurance Company OneLife. She implemented a chatbot for customer service that helps to resolve connection issues. In her Master’s thesis, Catia explored how to shape the chatbot’s personality to make him sound inline with the brand values and to be well-perceived by the specific customer group of the company. Catia will shared journey in research in innovation and illustrate, how industrial practice can benefit from academic research.

June 24, 2019: Donna: a chatbot that helps to find the right investment

Gaëlle Haag, the founder and CEO of the Luxembourg-based startup StarTalers (http://startalers.com) shared her experience building, promoting and maintaining their Messenger chatbot Donna.
